6.2.0 Requirements update:
Required High-level UI tasks
• Create new EclWatch | Operations sub-tab
• Create new Dynamic ESDL Services tree viewer ( very similar to existing Topology services viewer)
• Create new DEDSL Services summary page (to be displayed in tandem with the above tree viewer)
• Create new “Bind” section where users will be able to view all available ESDL Definitions, and associate a given definition with a DESDL Service, and also provide per method configuration details

Expected UI tasks (we could live without, and the alternate solution if not implemented)
• Parse ESDL definition and provide dynamic list of ESDL Service methods in summary and/or bind view
o If not available, an input field (xml text) should suffice
• Provide option to upload configuration file (Miguel time: Advanced feature)
o If not available above feature should suffice

Desired UI tasks (not expected in this release, likely future enhancements)
• Create new Definitions tab
o Display all available ESDL definitions with a HTML preview
Convenience - User can achieve this manually through WsESDLConfig
o Provide mechanism for publishing ESDL definitions
Convenience – User can achieve this manually through WsESDLConfig and via commandline

High-level back-end tasks
• WsESDLConfig – provide ESDL binding associated with a given DESDL service
Currently front-end would need to fetch all ESDLBindings, find match based on ESP Process.ESPBinding pair
Desired low-level back-end tasks Back end task
• WsESDLConfig - provide list of ESP Processes and all available DESDL service
This information currently provided by wstopology, requires front-end to filter based on type

At risk for 6.0.0 release right now...

Rodrigo Pastrana February 22, 2016 at 4:40 PM

The scope and overall design of this UI has been restructured to fit seamlessly into the existing eclwatch framework under the operation/Services/ESP sub-section.

Currently there isn't any work needed on by the ESP/DESDL side for this task. As the design matures, server-side work might be identified should be communicated to the ESP/DESDL team.

This should be moved off 5.2.0 as Rodrigo has some work to add to this.
