The Elastic sink need authentication information in order to communicate securely with the server. The following information must be added to the configuration. For Kubernetes deployments, secrets shall be used where appropriate.

• cert location. If the cert is not auto configured in the pod, the cert must be loaded separately and configured for the HTTP client

• authentication method

• authentication value(s) (stored as secrets)
