ROXIE: http based (soap and json) requests and
WsEcl: soap, json, URL, and FORM based queries

".trim=0" can be added to the URL to prevent empty fields from being removed.

Right, for historical reasons, ROXIE defaults Trim to true when using HTTP to run queries. So for HTTP requests empty fields are removed from the output by default.

If you add ?.trim=0 to the URL those fields will not be removed and will instead have empty strings for their values.

Is that enough information?

I plan to add a suggestion to set TRIM to FALSE when JSON response expects all fields for the related issue. Can you help me with details?
