Hex Preview option not functioning

The Preview Hex option in the Landing Zone no longer displays any data.
The message "Fetching Results..." is displayed but no further activity is noted.

Gordon's latest PR is not yet in 6.4.0 builds

I just retested 10.173.248.7 using the latest 6.4.0-rc5 release and I am still not seeing any display results. Just for reference my other training cluster 10.173.248.1 is using 6.2.14-1 and the Hex Previewer is working fine.

...Also found the actual issue, so should be working again.

I have issued a PR which doesn't fix the issue, but rather displays an error if/when it fails.

I will need to investigate more as it may not be possible to remote read from landing zones anymore.
