Centos 6 installation requires CERN repository

Description

Due to the age of centos 6 and the lack of support. A third party repository is required in order to fetch all the updated packages needed to run the 7 series of the platform.

Stu has suggested that this be included in the Installation and Running book.

The following file needs to be added to the system: /etc/yum.repos.d/devtools-2.repo

And should contain the following information:

[testing-devtools-2-centos-6]
name=testing 2 devtools for CentOS 6
baseurl=http://people.centos.org/tru/devtools-2/6/$basearch/RPMS
gpgcheck=0

Then using yum install hpccsystems-platform should work properly.

I believe Greg already added something about this somewhere, but it may need mention in more than one place . We will look into the best way to include the info for both single node and multi node.

In addition, in the current Installation and Running manual, in the section "Initial Setup-Single Node", we talk about installing packages.  This information is not just for single node setups
