Some events, that were previously rare but are more frequent nowadays, occur when mostly the plugin and/or the 3rd party server environment changes such as MySQL stored procedures, couchbase authentication (HPCC-21496) or a recent upgrade in 'R' (and its backward incompatibility) causing a failure in OBT.

The impacts of some changes can disappear when there is an environment update (like MySQL) and/or platform or plugin changes, but in some cases (like the R embed on candidate-3.3.34) the environment update isn’t helpful and down-merge changes in the source code aren’t planned or aren’t reasonable or they clash with our (point) release policy.

It would be nice to implement a new feature where selected test case(s) can exclude them form the test session and report them back in the results email.
