I think the field should be renamed.  The current service is not being used anywhere, and so removing the old field and adding a new one will not cause any problems.

Currently providing the userid in the KeyID field will work, but it's probably better to rename the field to make it more explicit. Also about the name of the field, is it better to call it UserID, or UserEmail to make it even more clear?

I like the idea, so that the user don't have to keep or type in the keyid.
