DFU Workunits (from spraying) should indicate the type of spray (delimited, json, xml, fixed)

Description

It is difficult/impossible to tell how a file was sprayed by looking at the DFU workunit that performed the spray from within ECL Watch. See enclosed screenshot for an example of a JSON spray DFU. You cannot verify that JSON was actually selected; it could be an XML spray instead.

Conclusion

DFU Workunits to indicate the "type" of spray.

I wonder if it is worthwhile to have the DFU process modified to stash that explicit information into the workunit, so no one has to guess.

Looking at the response it should be possible to distinguish between:

  • Fixed

  • Variable

  • XML / JSON

But as it stands there is no way to distinguish between XML and JSON (the filename might be a hint).

I should have noted that the screenshot is from a 7.8.62 cluster.
