Stats. thor manager crash reading superfiles, where cluster is wider than file

Description

If the cluster reading a superfile is wider than the superfile, some slaves will not read any parts, and they will not serialize subfile stats.

The manager unconditionally deserializes subfile stats., causing unpredictable behaviour, e.g. crash/asserts/spurious messages re. unfound graphs/activities.
