Now that HPCC passwords are being forced to expire, the IDE should support the capability to change an expired password (similar to what ECLWatch allows).

I would still like to do the screenshare to see the messages.

we only received username / password failure when the password is expired. Should I create a Jira for the server to send us that information?

can you reproduce this and we can do a joint debug session (screen share)?

The ECL IDE does currently support changing passwords, but it needs to be enhanced to recognize a password near expiration (ws_account MyAccount passwordDaysRemaining/passwordExpirationWarningDays) so it can display a "Your password will expire in xx days, do you want to change it now?" dialog, and also to recognize when a user enters the correct password but it has already expired (ws_account MyAccount passwordDaysRemaining)(should display a "Your password has expired, do you want to change it now?" dialog).
