These students were accepted on to the HPCC Systems intern program in 2018. Their poster illustrates the work they achieved while completing their internship. They were displayed during our 2018 Community Day Summit.
Our 2018 third place winner, Robert Kennedy, spoke about his project on the main stage at our 2018 Community Day Summit supported by Professor Khoshgoftaar from Florida Atlantic University (Watch Recording / View Slides).
Lili Xu returned to the HPCC Systems intern program for the third time this year. Special thanks go to Lili for supporting our Poster Presentation Contest during the time she has spent working on the HPCC Systems Open Source Project. We are delighted to welcome her into the LexisNexis Risk Solutions family as an employee as she completes her studies. Find out about Lili's previous intern projects where she first implemented a Yinyang K-Means Algorithm in HPCC Systems and then went on to Optimise ECL-ML YinYang K-Mean Clustering Algorithm on HPCC Systems Platform.
We also welcomed Nicole Navarro into the LexisNexis Risk Solutions family as an employee after completing her studies earlier this year.
Aramis Tanelus is a high school student who is heavily involved in his school's robotics program. Taiowa Donovan, Robotics Director from American Heritage School, spoke about their Autonomous Agricultural Project at our 2018 Community Day Summit and Aramis, along with three other students involved in this program, demonstrated their robot at this event (Watch Recording / View Slides / View Robotics Demo).
