Poster Abstract

Introduction:

Due to increased population, there is an urge and rise in the number of farmers. This makes the regulation and transfer of aid to farmer for their difficulties more difficult. To address this issue, we are making use of HPCC Systems. By using the visualization methods and high computing performance, we can process this huge dataset, such as rainfall and income and expenditure of farmers, and can be used by Government and many other survey departments to take proper action in suitable regions.

Objective:

Farmers are the backbone of any nation, especially in India. The rainfall dataset can be interpreted to display it on the map and profit and expenditure dataset can be used to interpret data and enable govt and other entities to make a proper and needy investment in the farming sector of country. Further boasting the economy and to certain extent, eradicating corruption to some extent.

Our project aims to use existing technologies in better way to help the poor and small farmers.

Methodology:

This project requires the agricultural data of the farmers and rainfall history record dataset, the rainfall dataset helps us to visualize the pattern of rainfall in the country and another dataset helps to visualize the profit margins of farmers to help them get best results and investment for their farm growth. Now a days there are many middle men who take up large chunk of money and commission charges even there are many alternative ways that are very tedious and slow process. The HPCC Systems provides us with high computational power make our job easy to process and store data.

Further, if we integrate the online payment services like UPI, we can speed up the process and make timely investments. Moreover, many of the middle men are looting the rightful money of innocent farmers, if this project succeeds in the mission, It will really help boast the economy of country.
